OAMPS Insurance Brokers provides Hockey South Australia with two components of cover: 

 

Public and Professional Liability

 

This component insures Hockey South Australia and its affiliates including all activities and competitions listed below:

  • The playing of hockey within Australia and includes state representative teams
  • Including coaches, trainers, conditioners and medical persons employed by the insured
  • Game day activities, including ground and venue risks but only as a result of the negligence of the named insured
  • Minkey competition
  • Coaching and development, including accredited coaching camps

Personal Accident

 

Cover limited to 'injury' to an insured person whilst involved in the following activities:

  • Playing in club and representative games, competitions and performances
  • Participating in training or practice sessions, or official functions arranged by the insured
  • Travelling to or from club and representative games, competitions or performances, training or practice sessions, meetings or official functions arranged by the insured (refer to conditions)
  • Engaged in activities connected with the sport whilst staying away from home during a tour for the purpose of participating
  • Whilst an insured person is engaged as an administrator, coach, referee, official or voluntary worker at an event authorised by and under the control of the insured
